No. Daily 8 works on the WhatsApp you already have. After you start the trial, we message you to confirm the start date. The next morning at 8 AM, your first lesson arrives in the chat.
Start a trial without paying anything. You receive a full daily lesson each morning for 7 days. On day 8, the plan you chose at signup kicks in — annual ($49) or monthly ($4.99). If you cancel before day 8, you are not charged. Cancellation is one tap from your account page, or one email to team.byzzle@gmail.com — no hold music, no friction.
Most subscriptions (Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean) cover the basic-to-intermediate range (A1–B2) in a single track — useful for travel, returning learners, and casual study. The English subscription has two tracks instead — Intermediate (B1–B2) and Advanced (C1–C2) — because that audience is usually already conversational and wants vocabulary range. Between 30 and 90 seconds. The whole point of the product is that it has to survive a busy week — if it took longer, you would skip it, and the habit would break.
Nothing happens. There are no streaks and no guilt. All your past messages stay in the chat history, so you can scroll back any time. Every Sunday we also send a short weekly recap.
When the 7-day trial ends, your chosen plan starts and the first charge happens automatically. After that: the monthly plan renews every month until you cancel; the annual plan does not auto-renew — when the year ends, you decide whether to continue. We never charge silently either way, and your account page shows the next billing date.
During the 7-day trial: cancel any time, zero charge. After the trial: monthly subscribers can cancel at the end of the current month from the account page or by email; annual subscribers can request a refund for genuine issues (billing errors, accidental purchases, dissatisfaction reasons we believe). EU and UK subscribers also have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal that may apply — see the Refund Policy for detail.
After the free trial: annual is $49 for a full year (50% off the regular $99 during launch week) — that works out to about $4.08 per month and saves you roughly $11 vs paying monthly. Monthly is $4.99 per month with no commitment.
Yes — at signup, send us the recipient's WhatsApp number and a short note. We set it up and send a small welcome message on your behalf. Gift subscriptions skip the trial (the gift is already paid).
